CONCRETE GRADE @ BEAM/COL. JUNCTIONS

Description

For multistory buildings the column concrete grade will be higher say M40/M50 compared to the Slab/Beam concrete which will be M25/M30. For 200 wide columns it is impossible to provide column ties near junctions for confinement. Can all of you suggest what should be the concrete grade at junctions It should be same us column or can it be same us slab. I suggest same us column grade. Please clarify
