Hello sir,



I have some doubts in cooling tower…



How to calculate and apply static seismic force in cooling tower??? Which code is useful for the reference?
I want to do wind analysis…static and dynamic both…then IS 875 part 3 is sufficient for it or some other code is required?
How to decide top and bottom diameter of the hyperbolic cooling tower from height of cooling tower?
If I want to do finite element analysis of cooling tower, then how to decide number of elements to be discretized. i.e.  descritization in the angle and height.
Please suggest some other material or code available for cooling tower…specifically for earthquake and wind analysis…
