dear sefians,
I wanted to do my project on considering the effect of all three earthquake ground motion excitations..i am doing this on RC hyperbolic cooling tower...but i couldn't able to get the database for Indian earthquakes lie koyna and bhuj etc.., can you please help me how can i found the database for the purpose of time history analysis....?? and also how can i get the information regarding the existing hyperbolic RC cooling towers for modelling in the software..?? i wanted to use abaqus as my tool..can you tell me for the modeling of RC hyperbolic cooling towers which software is feasible..??? please help me in this regard...
Thanking you .

I have modelled a simple 6 storied 2 bay portal frame with Staad. After assigning material properties i want to assign the joint loads, memeber loads and floor loads. Can anyone tell me how to calculate these forces......
Thanking you
