Am reviewing design of box culverts, i have a problem in live load dispersion calculation. Here am attaching design report, please give me break up for same.

for 70R bogie axle type, they consider a1,a2 and a3 distance and L1& L2 loads,how to get that.?

Dear SEFI member
Refer IRC 6 for loading details and the rules for placement of live load on the span..tables which you have shown might be for getting maximum BM on the span...but you can now get these by modelling on staad with actual dimensions of 70R loading....also refer IRC21 for getting effective width of this live load.
