Dear Experts,
It is understood that the foundation of high-rise buildings is generally raft, pile or piled raft. How are the group of pile & pile cap designed for the shear wall of a tall building ? Any book or helping material to the aid ?

Dear Rangrajan Sir,
I am no expert rather rate myself as student. I acknowledge your kind gesture.
In this conference i can only see one simple paper regarding Prof. Katzenbach and his co researchers which i think injustice to them.
Posting here one of the good ref paper. Those who have access to good referece journals then please explore or google up Prof. Katzenbach or CPRF and you will get many more.

** The shear wall is modeled as a line load or as several adjacent equivalent point loads.**

Dear E S Jay,
We can easily design the pilecap foundation for shear wall if you use SAFE, a software of CSI. If you want to design by hand you can change from the shear wall to column.
