Dear All,
Can someone recommend me some free or cheaper solution for quick estimation tool or spreadsheet?
This should have an user friendly interface and allow uses to customize the schedule of rates.

on the first hand please go thro some standard text books such as Bridge engineering by V.K. Raina . Then read IRC stipulations/guidelines such as IRC 5,6,21,78 etc., along with relevant IS codes such as 1893 etc.,. IIT delhi has spredsheets for sub structure,foundation and superstructure design for WSD they might have reivised for LSD. Please study the spreadsheets.

nothing is available free of cost... the quality of software is directly proportional to cost.

I feel budding Engineers should preferably be very conscious about their punctuation and grammar, if they are to make any impression. |
