Dear Sefian,
You can work on the effect of earthquake inside a liquid retaining tank with columns inside as this will create hindrance to the normal effect.

You can research on Diagrids. It's an emerging topic worldwide, although there are few or no practices in india.
Other topics are Reactive powder Concrete, Optimisation of bracings in an irregular building.
