Is there a way to increase the friction capacity of clayey soil layer that is at greater depths (say more than 15m from existing ground level)?
Reason: I am calculating friction capacity of soil that is mostly of silt & clay and unable to arrive at safe pile length for the given cohesive values of average 50 kN/sq.m & Angle of repose is zero. Increasing number of piles is also not resolving the problem.
