I am analyzing a turbine deck and foundation system using Staad. I have obtained the natural frequency and found out that none of the frequencies are within 20% of operating speeds. Now I want to calculate the response (amplitudes) at the operation frequency of machine to check whether it is within acceptable limit. Whether is it possible to get the response using Staad.? or how can I calculate it manually?
Pls help.
