Dear members
My capacity of elevated  intze tank is 250m3
What are the provisions for spacing of columns if it is a 6 column staging?
My query in attached file is how the distance between column is taken 3140mm?
Pls reply

You have to start from top level of tank.
First finalize size of tank After that conical slab at suitable inclination .
Then you will get the radius of Bottom ring beam,i.e. Radius of staging.

Respected sir
Thanks for your valuable comment. Following those points i have fixed the dimensions of every component and i get outer to outer diameter of circular girder at bottom.  i.e 6.28 m. But i am confused how the spacing of front column in the particular sum of seismic guidelines by iit kanpur is 3140mm. What is the basic fundamental in it?
Kindly help me out for this dimension. For reference i attached the pdf file in previous post.
Thanks
Saurin.
