Dear sir/ma'am,Greetings of the day. Sir, I am facing some problems with a structure. I am attaching the staad file for evaluation. The sections are failing in design, even if they are big enough.I'll be highly grateful to you if you can rectify my errors.Site info:Industrial buildingcolumn & beams at 13.625 are already constructed.Slab is to be constructed at 8.8m level, thk-150mm.No walls on beam. Only Railing/parapet wall on top external beams.Slab load-6kn/m1m*850mm column is also already present.

Some mistakes that I observed in the Model
and some are very basic mistakes
1) DL for Slabs not Applied
2) LL on slabs applied in Wrong Direction
3) Releases shoul be properly assigned for secondary beams
4)Why FE415 if used? Any special Requirement. U can go for Fee 500
5)Proper unsupported length for need to be calculated an applied in the Design parameter

Other than this
1)I could not see 13.625 m lvl. it would be useful in checking column design.
2) for 8.8 m lvl are the beams already constructed? If no u can go for a composite slab

find attached corrected file of what u had provided.

Hello
The following is a staad file of a G+1 structure with rcc water tank of 50KL above. When designed in staad pro it shows that the columns(Beam no 9,11,45,47) on the edge which are supporting the water tank -"section inadequate & reinforcement exceeds maximum limit".I revised the section still it shows the same. .Can somebody figure out why?
Thank you

your model loading is not proper? Some unresovable queries can be cleared but not basics. You should
Get your loading on model checked by senior.
Its look just like a Staad model prepared for practice purpose
