Dear Sefian Er. Jayakumar,
Thanks a lot for the attachment. The subject we are discussing is not the changes from IS 13920: 2002 to IS 13920:2016. It is rather what amendments have been made in IS 13920: 2016 in recent amendment no. 1 by BIS.
with best regards,
Aditya

Dear Er.Aditya,
I know it. I thought it will be useful for those who wish to learn about the changes in the recent Revision. I opted not to open yet another new topic and post it there, in order to curb the proliferation of topics.
Regards,
E S Jayakumar

Is it good to sell amendment?
To me it looks odd, to pay mistakes of a publishers.
I have purchased, and will try to discuss here and update on:

About vertical links in beam:
Clause 6.3.1 (a):
in normal practice, a link is made of a single bent bar. But, it may be made of two bars also, namely a U-link with a 135° hook with an extension of 6 8 times diameter (but not less than 65 75 mm) at each end, embedded in the core concrete, and a cross-tie (see Fig. 4B).
Same thing is corrected in Fig. 4(A) and Fig. 4(B)

On page 4, Clause 5.5:
[Last line]
When any such irregularities are adopted, detailed
nonlinear analyses shall be performed to demonstrate
that there is no threat to loss of life and property.
changed to:
When irregularities appear in a building as listed in Tables 5 or 6 of IS 1893 (Part 1), the guidance given therein for the respective irregularity in Tables 5 or 6 shall be followed.
That imply that requirement of "nonlinear analysis" has been withdrawn.
