Someone suggested me to try Cype software in Structural Engineering. I have not seen anyone using it. But it is quite popular in Europe.

Has anyone on this forum has experience of using this software? Can it be used for projects in India, which are required to be designed by Indian Codes?

There website is not very attractive. I could find something interesting on their website, and they call it Open BIM. Even I found a free software in that category.

https://www.store.cype.com/en/search?tag=Open+BIM

The name of software is "StruBIM Foundations Free".

I will try and report.

However, I suspect support for Indian Codes.

I also found that it is listed in SEFI at https://www.sefindia.org/?q=node/20
