Hi ,  To avoid two isolated footing overlapping , i have reduced the footing width and increased the length , now cantilever length on longer direction of footing is increased , for economic design i have provided a beam along the longer direction , is it correct way to do , please suggest.

Attached image for understanding

Regards,
Magesh

Dear Magesh
The attachment is damaged. Can you upload it again.
Conceptually what you have done is correct. Stiffening the foundation with a beam is quite common and I have done it on many occasions although for combined footings.
