|
|
Hi all,
We are providing uniform thickness for the entire footing though the critical section lies at d/2 from the face of the column and one way shear is at a distance D from the face of the column.
Can we reduce the thickness after the distance D from the face of the column?
Thanks&Regards,
Sathya. |

Why not ? That is what is done in stepped and sloped isolated footings, right ?
