Dear All


Clearly understand about Strong column week beam theory and Mc/Mb ration as per IS 13920-2016. Also understand column width min 300mm.

Now question about shear wall, is it same rule for shear wall or shear wall sizes 230 allowable. Is it any relation ration of shear wall to beam ?

why engineer choose shear wall in designs than column using concept 1:4 width to length.
