You can also refer EXPLANATORY HANDBOOK  ON IS 875 PART3 (2015) BY IITK. IT IS AVAILABLE ON GOOGLE .
It can be easily downloadable.

The Turbulence intensity needs to be worked out from equations given at clause 6.5 of IS 875 p3. Equations are given for terrain category 1,2,3& 4.

In IS 875 (Part-3): 2015 code, Cl. 7.4.3.2 Force coefficients for Individual members, the formula for Normal and Transverse force is given as F = (Cf pd K) / b. This should be F = Cf pd K L b. Can someone comment?

F = C*Pd*K*l*b

The value written by you is ok

The value written by code is also ok , but  since l is shown slanting
in  code gives wrong impression.

I is length of member and not to be read as  / .

Code writes  F= CPdKlb  , the printing of l is slightly slanting which gives misimpression of /.

Please refer page 2 on notations of code , there also l  is shown little slanting.

But your apprehension is very right.

If someone reads hurriedly , there are chances of misreading.
