dear seniors
i have a query
when we design raft  in staad pro as mat the reinforcement comes out based on moments .further if we take accounts of shear stress  i.e Sqx and Sqy the corresponding tension reinforcement percentage as per sp16 table 61 gives out percentage of tension reinforcement much more than based on Mx and My of plate result calculation. then which reinforcement we have to take in account for design. further how to check punching shear stress for pile raft or raft with walls over it .
