just came to know about Draft Indian Standard Earthquake Resistant Design and Detailing of Steel Buildings – Code of Practice. The code discuss about different lateral system like SMRF, SCBF, EBF etc.

This Code is long due . Earthquake resistant design for steel structures catering Industrial Buildings , Steel plants , Thermal power Plants and other sectors is need of times . Wherein lot is available on EQ resistant design of RCC , steel str is lagging behind for want of Codal guidelines.
