I need help on following subject.
Is there any Code / paper published to test the asphalt sample test method for roads already built and in use by traffic ?
We have standard procedure for testing different asphalt mixes at plant site were the mixture of bitumen and aggregate is prepared.
But can the same be used to test the sample for roads already constructed.?
For example the extraction test at plant site has standard tolerances of +/- 0.3 .
can the same b used for existing roads ?

need a procedure to test the existing roads for bitumen content .
