Dear Sefians,

Opening this 15 year old 2009 discussion thread about Delhi Airport T1 Roof experiencing Structural issues. I am not too sure if this is exact same structure being referred in this discussion of 2009 here.

The prior event in 2009 seems to show that purlins failed. The current collapses seems joints yielded in the steel supports.

Please share your thoughts on cause of failure with historical perspective of this structure.
