Dear Friends
I tried to design a steel shed over RCC Columns in Staad Pro.However the problem with the file is the nodal displacement is very high.Also the steel columns are very heavy.Even ISMB550 is failing.I shall be thankful if you help me finding mistake in my Staad file which I have enclosed.I am sure I made some mistake but can't figure out.Guys please guide me.

I think it is better to go for pipe columns ( round/ square) having L/R same in two directions.
May be I section failing due to L/R in Lz dir.
If vertical bracing is provided at End/ penultimate bays,, the horizontal forces of wind can be easily negotiated by bracings and columns in minor direction I yr case be spared of heavy moments.
Rcc column beneath can be taken as Fixed / Hinged connection as per detailing proposed at junction.
