Dear Members,

I'm seeking detailed insights regarding the standard testing methods for precast concrete panels to determine their mechanical properties. Specifically, I'm interested in:

  1. Compressive Strength: What are the most commonly used and recommended test methods for determining the compressive strength of concrete panels according to Indian Standard?
  2. Flexural Strength (Modulus of Rupture): For panels subject to bending, how is flexural strength typically assessed? What are the standard specimen sizes and loading configurations (e.g., two-point vs. third-point loading) as per Indian Standards?

I will be grateful for your insights and guidance.
Thank you.

For mechanical properties, IS 516 indian standard code.
There are two types of tests destructive and Non destructive such as CTM (150MMcube or Cylinder) , for flexural beam 150*150*700mm.
In NDT rebound hammer or UPV or core cutter test.
