Dear Members,
I'm seeking detailed insights regarding the standard testing methods for precast concrete panels to determine their mechanical properties. Specifically, I'm interested in:
- Compressive Strength: What are the most commonly used and recommended test methods for determining the compressive strength of concrete panels according to Indian Standard?
- Flexural Strength (Modulus of Rupture): For panels subject to bending, how is flexural strength typically assessed? What are the standard specimen sizes and loading configurations (e.g., two-point vs. third-point loading) as per Indian Standards?
I will be grateful for your insights and guidance.
Thank you. |

For mechanical properties, IS 516 indian standard code.
There are two types of tests destructive and Non destructive such as CTM (150MMcube or Cylinder) , for flexural beam 150*150*700mm.
In NDT rebound hammer or UPV or core cutter test.
