Hi All, I am writing to seek clarification on a specific aspect of IS 16700:2023"Criteria for Structural Safety of Tall Buildings."
My query pertains to the application of provisions related to Non-StructuralElements (NSE):
1.Are the NSE provisions in IS 16700:2023 intended to be applied only tonon-structural members in tall buildings with a height greater than 50 meters?
2.Or should these NSE provisions be applied to all buildings, regardless ofheight?
I would greatly appreciate your expert insight on this matter. If there are anyadditional resources or documentation that could provide further clarity onthis topic, I would be thankful for that information as well.
