Dear Sirs,
First of all I would like to congratulate the Organizers of this E-Conference.
Here I would like to raise a few points which is of relevance to this conference.
The points are
1. How to classify the site for sulphate content?
2. Different code provides different guidlines, Australian code, ACI, IS 456 and BS are providing different guidelines for classificaiton of sites. For practical purpose what classification we have to adopt.
3. The recent developments in Thaumausite form of Sulphate attack needs to be addressed in durability aspects.
4. What are the precautions to be considered during the coupled mode of attack of sulphates and chlorides.
These are a few points which can be discussed in this conference.
Looking forward to hear from experts of the group.
With regards
Sincerly
