I am with Rajeev on this one. At these times Rs 500 per annum is actually no major amount for even students, specially at the level of their education where they may be interested in this kind of discussion group. And without even this much of contribution, I'm afraid that the required motivation may also be not there. There should not be a second thought, for even a second, on the contribution of this small an amount, I think, for such a cause.

Many other suggestions are also worth examining like charging from advertising companies for employment and thru other advertisement means. But these kind of contributions should be in addition to the annual fee from the members. And I do not think it to be good idea to always look to the people like Dr SKJ (for sanctioning project etc etc) for all such meager things. His contribution, whatever it is, already worth the praise, as I'm sure he must be very busy with his duties and other important assignments.

(Dr SKJ!, I deserve TWO cups of coffees from you next time when I see you:))

With regards,
M.K.Mishra
