Being a Mechanical Engineer I'm fresh to civil structural engineering. I'm badly in need of an analysis check for a duct ( say a hollow beam ) for flexibility analysis.
1. A duct ( 11.5 X 7 m Cross-section ) with a support span of 7 meter needs what type of section ( say beam , channel ) to be supported to be within the flexible limit
2. Vice versa. If we have say Beam300 for supporting the duct What span shall we keep to make it within the flexible limit.
I can't sort out my need without your help. Please consider this post
