Dear expert members
I am designing a building, in which one portion to be designed as a column free space of size 30M* 25M. I have modeled this building using staad pro. This column free space proposed as a GRID SLAB. I have modeled using beam element and plate element. The Rib beam as 300mm*1000mm with slab thickness 100mm spacing of rib beams 2.0M in both directions. The STAAD model is attached. The deflection at centre is around 121 mm for the service loads. This grid slab i have modeled using safe software , but the deflection comes to 61 mm for the same load conditions.
Pl guide me , whether the design is correct or depth to be increased, whether my Staad analysis is correct.
