Hi,

Could you please tell me what would be the design axial force in a physical(bldg. col or crane col.) member when we model it as a series of analytical member in Staad?

We take max. axial force of all the analytical members as a design force of a physical member(i.e., bldg or crane column)? (Please confirm)

Thank you.

Can you please suggest me any text book example on designing a lattice built-up which supports a crane?
