hai,
i have a doubt in ductility rebar in prestressed concrete. while designing flexture member in RAPT software the rebar graph shows reinforcements in bottom of column beam junction. my design criteria design is to avoid such reinforcement and we increase the dimension of the beam to avoid such reinforcements. can any one please tell me why the ductile reinforcements are coming and why the should be avoided.
