Hi everyone,
I was recently driving along the A137 near Colchester. The road passes in front of the main dam of Ardleigh Reservoir which made me wonder why the dam hadn't been built about 100m further forward to accommodate the road running over the top? Now, I don't think we have ever discussed dam and reservoir roads before on SABRE? My question is therefore; what are the highest, lowest, longest & short, wide & narrow, new & old, former & projected roads which run over the top of dams in the UK? Also are any of the circular road reservoir roads open to public access and which is the longest? Any more thoughts...?
Thanks
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
