AS NOW A DAYS IT IS COMMONLY SEEN THAT EVERYONE IS PROVIDING RCC COLUMN IN LOAD BEARING WALLS AT CORNERS IN RESIDENTIAL HOUSES OF 2-3 STORIES. IN SUCH CASE ON WHAT PARAMETERS WE DECIDE SIZE OF COLUMN, FOUNDATION SIZE OF COLUMN AND ITS STEEL.
SECONDLY HOW WE DECIDE TRIBUTARY AREA IN SUCH CASE AS LOAD BEARING WALL IS THERE WHICH WOULD OFCOURSE REDUCE LOAD OVER COLUMN. SO WHAT IS ITS PURPOSE.
