On this Diwali day, I wish to share this good news of "Indian Concrete Journal is going to be continued" with a new team of editors. The following is the email I received.
_________________________________________________
Dear Reader,

Over the last month since the announcement of the closure of The Indian Concrete Journal, we have been overwhelmed with the outpouring of support and requests to continue publishing the ICJ!  The management of ACC have considered your requests and suggestions and reviewed this decision.

We are sure that you will be pleased to know that we will continue to publish ICJ in service of the Civil Engineering, Concrete and Construction fraternity.

We have put together a new team to take this journal forward, which is moving  full steam ahead to bring you the next issue quickly. We are attempting to beat the  odds to deliver the November issue of ICJ  by the first week of December 2018. In this edition, you can look forward to contributions from industry experts, prominent coverage of interesting and innovative concrete construction, thought-provoking editorials on current topics, information on the latest equipment and products in construction industry and much more.

We are mindful of the valuable heritage and credibility that ICJ enjoys, making it one of the most reputed civil engineering journals in India and indeed across the world. The dissemination of the latest technical knowledge coupled with advocacy of good engineering practices and pursuit of technological excellence has benefitted generations of engineers, consultants, architects, contractors and researchers for over nine decades.

We would like to continue publishing the ICJ for several more decades – for this, dear reader, we require your support.  We ask that you write in to
icj@icjonline
to renew your subscriptions quickly, and also spread the word about ICJ within your circle of influence.  The more subscribers we add, the greater the assurance of continuing to publish this journal.

We want to say ‘thank you’ to all those who have written in to persuade us to continue publication, to all our subscribers for the steadfast support, to those who have sent in their papers and articles for publication – we will continue to do our best and take ICJ to greater heights.

Diwali is the season of renewal, so it is quite fitting a time to resume our journey with a new spring in our step and the belief that together we will craft a new and exciting future for The Indian Concrete Journal.

We wish you a Happy Diwali.
