Dear Sefi members,

Structural designer of the project is compelled by the architect or client for signing the completion form (standard format by concern authorities) as  "structural engineer supervising the construction at site".
If structure engineer refusing it will attracts abusing comments or threats of removing from current project/from future projects.

Kindly share your views on above matter.

regards
kk

Dear Er. kkahmad,

We Structural Engineers ( Licensed Structural Engineers ) use this document from SEAOC ( Structural Engineering Association of California ) to deal with issues of our responsibility on a Project.

" Recommended Guidelines for the

Practice of Structural Engineering in

California ".

No experienced , senior Architect or Client will ever argue with you on a project, to sign anything, once you show them this guide.

Regards.

Vasudeo Pandya  P.E.
