The further delebrations and amendments in my previous article i.e. “ Magic equations for designing short RCC  columns of different shapes with axial,uniaxial & biaxial loads” published on page  57 to 60 of  INDIAN CONCREATE JOURNAL OCTOBER 2010
(copy enclosed as a ready reference) is nothing less than an invention/research in the field of Structural Engineering.

                The basic concept  used in the formation of these Excel Sheets are  not only limited to RCC column design for Indian code but also applicable to other Country’s Codes .This Concept is nothing but the beginning  of new era for research & development,  in the related fields. This is nothing but a tip of ice berg, requires
lot of scope of work for further Improvements/Development &Amendment.

1.     Due to  unavailability  of space expressed by the  ICJ ,they could neither published the full illustrations of other shapes of columns i.e. rectangular ,circular and L- Shape even parabolic &  ellipse  without any limitations nor they could arrange to provide the Excel Sheets  showing the formation of these Equations and  design of the columns for British Code & ACE Codes  as well.
            
2.     The solution of an example for column design is so tedius ,lengthy & very cumbersome as well as not on exact values but depending   by Designer’s judement  whereas the illustration shown by Excel Sheets Attached are so simple & give  results beyond anybody’ imagination within seconds. The results  are nothing   but the summation  of 2 Areas of reinforcements worked out on the basis of Area of steel for axially loaded column without  any eccentricity taken from different country’s codes and proportionate  Area of steel worked out for the excess  area of concrete worked out  without eccentricity.  

     The Main Variables required in the formation of these Excel Sheets are, only  the values of fck , fy & “Equation of ultimate load  for axially loaded  column without Eccentricity from different Country’s Codes“

There  may be minor difference in the calculations of reinforcements worked out on the basic of these Excel Sheets if compared with the results of
other programs worked out on the basis of interactive curves prepared by trials.

The results are more Ethenthic because  the solution is based on first principals.  A lot of work is required to be done for further refinement
     & fine tuning.

Thanks for adding 3 pages of ICJ in my above said posting
It is further clarified that a confusion is being created to be nothing new
Where as  previously  it was an Article only but  now it is a Resarch work
inventing  a new concept  for design of RCC Column.  demonstrated through
Modified Excel Sheets (attached) for more circulation & comments.

Although   my posting dated 23/11/2018 was visited by more than
600 SEFIan’s till date but no one  has commented on my original work done
through Excel program file which is Unique in nature with a new concept ever
thought before by any intelectuals in the field . Sorry that ,out of hundreds of
SEFIan’s No one has taken my posting seriously. Otherwise  thousands of
comments have received till now. Because the RCC column design with
uni-axial, bi-axial moments is so tedius.lengthy ,time consuming & lot of
approximations using charts & graphs etc also Getting different results from
different Softwares.
