Hello Everyone,
I am doing some research on requirements of diaphragms and cross frames in straight and curved bridges especially during deck construction. According to my knowledge AASHTO LRFD specifications have diaphragm/cross frame spacing requirements for horizontal curved bridges. However, there is no specification mentioned for spacing of diaphragms in case of straight bridges. If there is any requirement per the AASHTO, Indian or British codes, anyone in the bridge industry if you have dealt with this requirement can you please share it?
Thanks |
