Hi SEFIANS,


I want to Know that hoe to calculate wing load on roof of a cable rack of 50m length at 8m height. cross section is attached for reference.

Roof is with bare galvanised sheet and no side cladding.

Which table is to follow for roof and which table to follow for sides? As per IS:875-2015 (Part-3).

You suggested to use Table 9 but here length of rack is more than 50m and width is arround 3m.
So, L/W ratio is more than 3.
Is their any other way to find coefficients of wind pressure.
