Dear sefians
In an exiting structure beams are going to retain and columns are demolished and going to construct new concrete column to increase the one more floor above the existing structure? Please provide any ideas for beam column joint detailing?

I think, it is better to go for some strengthening measures rather than simply demolishing the existing columns.
How you are going to demolish all columns without disturbing the existing beams?

Dear Er.Elakkiarajan

Are the foundations safe for the additional floor?

Is the building designed for seismic forces?

Dear Er . Elakkiyarajan,

This is a case of REVISED ( NEW) LOAD PATH in building . You need to do :

TWO SKETCHES WITH LOAD PATHS OF EXISTING  AND REVISED   ( NEW) STRUCTURE ARE NEEDED .

Sketch the existing structure and new revised structure with Load Values on them .  Once you have these sketches designing members including Footings is a routine Structural Engineering Job.  Do not remove any columns of existing buildings till you have LOAD PATH studies and  Final Design with Structural Drawings already done .   Removing columns without  final design of revised Structure is a  NO   NO . Do not even try as my Boss would say . There is nothing easy and FAST  AND  DIRTY  in our profession .

Regards.
