Dear Sir / Madam,
As you are well aware, a prominent thrust area of IAStructE is to ensure that the structural engineering fraternity in general and its members in particular, have the requisite technical knowledge and experience, updated on a continuing basis, to render professional service of high caliber to the society. A programme of continuing education for practicing structural engineers in the design and practice of structural engineering has been formulated and is being implemented religiously.
Under this programme, IAStructE is organizing an Online Refresher Course on "Pre-Stressed Concrete for Bridges & Buildings", starting from 20th March 2021 till 01 May 2021 through Zoom webinar. The lectures will be organized on every Saturday afternoon from 14:30 Hrs to 18:30 Hrs (IST). The Flier giving more details and the tentative lecture scheduled is attached herewith for your kind information.
Course participation fee shall be Rs. 5,000/- for IAStructE members; Rs 2,500/- for Student; Rs. 7,500/- for non-members. The GST @ 18% will be applicable on the Registration fee. The registration fee for Foreign nationals shall be USD 130 or INR 10,000/- (Foreign nationals will get 20% discount, if they are members of MoU Associations). Mr. V. N. Heggade, Fellow IAStructE & CEO STUP Consultants will be the Moderator of the Refresher Course.
In view of limited registration that will be available, all interested colleagues / academicians / practicing structural engineers should register through the link : https://www.sefindia.org/?q=node/775 to confirm their participation at the earliest. Kindly note the registration shall be open until the seats are available. Please note that the registration shall be done on first come first served basis. The registration shall be confirmed only after receiving the registration fee. The registration link for each day's lecture shall be sent well in advance to the registered participants only.
