Design of Tall Buildings with Podium & Basement (with reference to IS 16700:2017)

This webinar will cover seismic response evaluation and design of tall buildings having different lateral load resisting systems. Particular focus will be on dynamic analysis and base shear correction of single and multiple towers on connected basement and/or podium. The role and design of the back-stay diaphragm shall be discussed in detail. The proposed revisions in IS 16700 Draft Code, and their impact on design of tall buildings will also be discussed.
