I am using Stadd Pro V8i. I am relatively new to Stadd Pro and learning by myself mainly from You tube videos. I have modelled a G+4 storied building. The beams, columns and floor slabs are drawn and properties of all have been assigned. I have some confusion in assigning load. I know that while assigning load in “Load case details – Dead load –selfweight – assign to view – assign”, Stadd considers the selfweight of all the beams and columns automatically. I just want to know that whether Stadd considers the selfweight of Floor Slab also from assigned properties of slab alongwith beams and columns or I will have to give the selfload of the slab separately in Deadload - Floor slab load category alongwith floor finish load etc. I have the same confusion in assigning load in the lift wall and stair slab also.<o></o>
I am sorry if I fail to explain my confusions clearly.<o></o>

Dear Er Surajit
If you model the slabs / walls using plate elements and assign thickness to it, you can assign selfweight of the same directly. Otherwise, you have to calculate the expected weight and apply as Floor load in case of slabs or member loads in case of walls

Hope that helps
Yours sincerely
