Dear SEFI Members:
Full-scale Structural Testing of a Steel Building at the National Earthquake Testing Facility (NETF), MNIT Jaipur is schedule to be conducted on 18-May-2025.
This test is a part of the project on Design & Development of Type Designs of Housing using Structural Steel, as part of PMAY project towards Enhancing use of Steel in Housing Sector, supported by the Ministry of Steel, Government of India. This test will be a valuable opportunity to witness firsthand how our engineering principles translate into real-world behavior and to gather data regarding performance of steel building subject to lateral loads.
