Dear Prof.Chandrasekaran,

Indian standard IS:11384-1985 titled " Code of practice for composite
Construction in structural steel and in concrete" talks about composite
construction.

I personally have not used the code but understand that it stipulates
composite structure design by Limit state method.

To my knowledge Dr.T K Bandyopadhyay of INSDAG is currently working on
this code to bring at per with international standards.

Further input on the subject will be welcome,
