The following question was raised:
" Q. Is it necessary to model water tank and lift M/C room at the top?
* * * May not be requied if you transfer the forces at the respective nodes / locations."
In my view it is must to model water tank and lift motor room at top, as it will eliminate the chances of failure as 'Roof Appendages'. Hence please donot ignor them in your analysis. When you are modelling G+50 floors this is very small part but very important.
